Is Danny Graham going to be officially announced

    With the season ticket prices...

Sorry if this has been already posted, haven't had much time to roam around the board, so this could be old info, but hey ho here I go, this is what I've been told.

QPR activated a clause in Danny Grahams contract with a fee in the region of £2.5million for the Watford. Warnock was at QPR last week along with the players agent. QPR requested a delay in the deal being made public.

Warnocks meeting last week with club officials took place at Loftus Road where he identified a series of young hungry Premiership footballers and top Championship players that the club should buy. We are not looking deeply into heavily experienced Premiership players because they come with huge wages. There is a decent budget available but we will not be getting players in of £50, £60 or £70 grand a week mingling with the current squad. Warnock wants the very best from the Championship, players who want to cut it in the Premiership and are chomping at the bit for the chance. Expect good young players from Chelsea, Spurs & Liverpool to be heavily linked in the weeks ahead.

Might be putting 2 and 2 together to make 5 here...

I was thinking along the same lines, that surely some positive signing news will be announced soon to counteract the blow of huge season ticket prices

            Good news
            Under Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
            And many more mistakes

LES FERDINAND, IT'S TIME TO GO

              i

i would ber so happy if grayham came to us ,but if you rememberr my man said he was going to newcastle long before the papers got hold of it so im assuming that will be the place he will end up

but i do agree with dazzer we are better of trying to bring in top players from the lower divisions

people who have been paid top money and are no longer producing are not suddenly going to start to do the buisness again

Why does him being on holiday delay the announcement?

I think ainsworth and Rowlands signings and padulas new deal were all announced whilst they were on holiday

Might not be, just guessing on that front.

he is under contract to Watford until July 1st and no real hurry, we don't start pre-season to beginning of July

                        well

stainrodsalegand, the reson im being a bit more sensable lately in im very frigtened that we are going to get ripped to peices so much depends on the games we are allocated in those first eight weeks of the season we need to avoid any of the top teams while we try to get a few wins under our belt the worst thing that could happen to us is to draw arsenal or man utd

                        so its like that stainrodsalegand

Hope this does not end up like the Ambrose is a done deal from last season.

I think we need 2 or 3 of the big games in the first 8 games. If not we will have too many of them to come and pressure will come in a bigger form too early - having to perform against the lesser teams
