I disagree Pete.

Always reminded me of Michael Owen. A dire striker who only thrives when balls a re laid at his feet. On that, I think Owen is the most over rated striker in my lifetime.

Anyway, nearly £2million for him is good business, PS doesnt rate him.

If they go down we earnt a few hundred K for a player (WHO IS NOT INJURED - as ive said all along) that cant even get on our bench.

Im sure that even Briatore would know the kid is not a loan striker. I think he means in 1 4-4-2 alongside SDC or HH(if he's not injured), similar to the role he had in the second half against brizzle

here is my take on the Blackstock thing:

1) Supposedly PS does not rate him - unfair to judge him if he is constrained to those players already in the squad. Why not let him build his own team?;
2) When he has come on recently he has hardly set the world alight;
3) If he was rated he would be going to a club in the CCC challanging for promotion or a lower Premiership side fighting to stay up. The fact that he has gone to Forest speaks volumes;
4) @ 2 million pounds for him is a great deal.

In short I really cannot see what the fuss is about. Let him go and move on - give some of the young ones a crack and build for the future.

Lets not forget we have won our last 2 with little or no help from Dex. Time to put this story behind us and move on. Just my opinion for what it is worth.
