When do players contracts usually expire?

Is it 1 June (regardless of the year)?

1st July, which is when this season ends, the next season officially begins, contracts expire and the transfer window opens.

rumours that this is the revised date for the rapture are, at this stage, unfounded...

We can sign players before that date like Warnock said he wants 2 before end ofmay, just not join club until that date. Least thats how it works on Championship manager lol

Only out of contract players (who were on short term deals, e.g. Shittu and Mahon) and pre contract agreements
