I don't know why most people are so quick to dismiss this story out of hand. We know they are in talks and let's face it, if they do invest heavilly in a buy out, they are not going to risk getting relegated. They may have in mind a cap of £40m if the mgr feels he needs it to include the jan window.

At the end of the day, any budget is likely to be lower, but letd face it, to mttal £40m is nothing at all so it is perfectly feasible at the end of the day. Up to now they have not wanted to spend big as the ship is being sailed by others, but if they were at the helm, why not.
