10 million in up front fees (with future clauses ie if we stay up ), basic wage of 15 k plus massive appearance and win/performance bonuses. Sounds like a good set up to me , lets face it Chelsea only get 35000 fans and they pretend they have got their own money when eveyone knows they could never afford 50 mil for one player and 150k wages its a joke , i would rather us stay grounded in reality .

Depends where our owners see us, and at what level of competition. Didn't Amit def say Europe was an aspiration a while back. If that is the budget that's been set its clearly just to stabalise the club in the prem, come January if things are going to plan we'll see changes.

        lol... Europe next season?
lets just consolidate and make 17th our target
setting our sights on Europe would be ridiculous and naive

£10 million on players plus a few free transfers should see us ok. Look at Blackpool's squad we have better players than them already. We're not going to be paying 10-20 million for one player so lets wait and see who we get and get behind them. There will be players signed that not everybody will agree on. We should be enjoying this time but all you read is doom and gloom.

Could buy 10 Adels for £10million (or a Torres right foot!). £10M is plenty for NW - I'd expect to be pushing for top 3 if he really has got that much to spend. I'd actually expect the Board to stretch him a bit and just give him £2M (in which case we may have to settle for just 4th spot).

A new good back 4 of say Bassong...Naughton...Bougherra and another..will that be under 10 mill ? Walker on loan ?
Imo we really do need a great back line to stop the premier top guns.

yeah pace at the back we need , cant think of any fleet footed centre halves, although Bruma might be available and i must admit that Mills from Reading looks like a good 'animal' type centre half

We need an intelligent back 4 who can make every ball count and not hoof it.
