Rumour started by journalist (they're reliable, aren't they?) -- son of Wally Downes who has his own axe to grind with Warnock after a touch line bust-up.
This may be true, but as Downes is the only source I can find, and no-one else has this 'inside whisper', I won't believe it until I hear it coming from many sources, mainly our own offish.
