As I posted on the other thread, looking around various sites, it would seem that the SOLE source for this rumour was Wally Downes' son, whose father has long since had his own agenda with Neil Warnock after a big touchline bust-up.
Trouble is, like the Sun's 15 points lie, it will be copied and pasted all around the WWW, making it sound like it's true and come from several sources, BUT IT HASN'T. It may turn out to be true, but flimsiest of gossip at the moment.

The police monitor these MB's even in the close season, as well as facebook.
This event has been all over all the boards -- the police would have had no trouble finding out about it. They could have viewed it as an illegal gathering -- normally they will break up and move on any group of more than 12 -- and it had got to the stage where over 300 were expected.

As for Mittal -- well, only one unreliable source, with an axe to grind against Warnock -- I won't believe it until I read it in the Sun!
