They should have gotten rid of him earlier. He;s a decent enough bloke, but a terrible manager.

Spam should have taken O'Neill when he was interested. They would have been safe ages ago if they'd done that.

There were a few hundred of us down the front of The Loft for the 6-1. They went 1-0 up but when we scored our second this mental Rs bloke stood next to me turned around, faced the thousands of hammers behind us and screamed "we've got you now you sheet-bags!". Christ! I wanted the ground to swallow me up there and then! We actually got away with just getting covered in gob and a few bits of hair ####ed out - not bad considering I though I was going to die.....

gold and sullivan said upon arrival, they need to go down to restructure
ie lose the big wages and contracts

they won't come straight back up and doubtful they'll fill a 60000 ground in championship.

Sorry to see them go down, it would have been a good London derby. Too bad they
didn't get rid of Grant in January. Wish them well in the championship...hope they beat
                          Cardiff handily.

When we got relegated the hammers were top notch that day. "next year you'll be champions" they sung at us and a fair few of them hung around bush buying Rs pints and saying how we'll bounce back, they'll miss the derbys etc etc. Always had a lot of time for them after how they reacted to us going down. Wish them all the best but well, we know what its like. Their finances are scary, their owners are complete tools (albeit did well to get brum back up), aint gonna be easy.

Nice story Scott. Certainly a bit different from the Fulham fans singing "we'll never play you again". Hope they bounce back but unless they v quickly get those expensive players off their wage bill they cd do a Portsmouth or worse.
