Stan Bowles once gave up being a professional gambler to try his hand at football but soon reverted to the former.

The Morgan Twins went on to become PE teachers.

Don Shanks made toliets with his mate Armitage.

Gerry Francis, John Hollins, John Gregory Gary Waddock and a whole lot more went into football management.

And what about the one who carried on doing what he was doing when he played for QPR?

Keith Sanderson, the last amateur to play at the highest level in the great QPR team of the late 1960's. He was a surveyor when he played for the R's and continued when he retired.
