The major difference between the Prem and the rest of football is how fast it is. Going forward, I'm not too concerned, but we have none at the back.

Without it I am very worried.

    Thoughts?

Big Dan is not remotely good enough for the Prem. I know sentimentalists will shoot me down, but not for me.

I would hope he gets 2 quick full backs in and at least 1 quick centre half

Gorkks isn't slow y'know - seen him hold his own in a foot race with some nippy buggers this season. Terry and Vidic aren't any faster than him; thing is, Chelski and ManU seldom allow a situation where a nippy player gets to bear down on a static Terry or Vidic. I reckon the key is not to let defence get turned and running backwards and that's more about shape of team and nous of defendewrs thanh raw pace.
