I would swap Mackie for Danns but I guess its all about opinions.
Very suprised some rate mackie more than WR.
Mackie is a worker but can be a headless chicken and seen this on a fair few occasions.
I like the bloke and as Ray the tw at wilkins would say 'he's a good honest pro' but for me he lacks ability to play in the premier league so I think he could be off to palace.

will you get your head out of palaces daves rectal area
there is no way that mackie would be swapedd for Danns
if anything i think if mackie was to go it would be when he gets back in our sqaud and another prem team sees how good he is
mackie is not only a fighter he is not one of these diamond earing wearing bling bling watch buying players, hence the reason why i think if hes fit hell get infront of smith and routledge (i rate both highly)
mackie picks up the ball in the 80-90th minute when every one else is tired and hes been playing since the start.... danns doesnt do that
maybe loan him out to get back his fitness? even without any additions he is now behind routs and poss even smithy in the pecking order. might well have a future for us but he is going to have to fight his way back into it, and prove that early goal form was not an Agyman style one-off flourish. Good tho the rest of his play - and in particular his attitude/ work rate - is, it is not so good as to justify a place in the prem without goals imho.
I would be gutted if he was moved on, as his work rate, attitude and commitment is infectious and every successful team needs a Jamie Mackie and he is one of life's nice guys as well.

myself im rubbish with words but paul you smashed it with that statement mackies is a player you need around and we dont need to get rid of him just so palace daves happy lol
yeah well the things i get told are often better kept close to my chest but warnock has cateorgatically stated that neil danns is his number one target
but i still cant see mackie going in the other direction but i think buzsacky
could be the player to move warnock has matched palace valuation of two million for danns but i think palace want a player plus cash, maybe we will also give them rowlands
You couldn't be any further away from the truth there qprted!
Neil Danns is out of contract so is therefore free to speak to any club he wishes, so no, a £2 million fee won't have been agreed, although QPR are welcome to pay that us if they like! We are pretty much resigned to losing Danns and would be very surprised if he did sign a new contract to stay with us, he has given his all to Palace though and i think if he does go it will be with all the best wishes of Palace fans.
I highly doubt Warnock will be after Ambrose any longer, had a wretched season with injury this year so wasn't anywhere near as influential, were hoping he will come back next season injury free and be much more important to the team.
Nathan Clyne is the one that i fear though that Warnock may take a look at. He has been outstanding this season again, and in all likelihood will probably pick up the Player of the Year award next weekend. I fear Warnock would see Clyne as a player to replace Bradley Orr and with the Premiership as part of the pulling power i could see him sadly going to you. Now Clyne has 1 year left to run on his contract and the chairmen have offered him a massive pay rise with a new contract which he is mulling over, but again i think he wants to move on and play in the Premier League, however Palace are doing all they can to convince him to stay and buy into the future that the new owners are trying to create.
well palace dave if i may put this question to your good self if you remember the
palace brentford friendly game about ten heavily scared up broken nosed qpr fans were talking to the palace fans in the macdonanlds car park
that was the mighty northolt, and i was there that day palace dave,we had only came to watch the game and i talked to many palace fans and they all said that neil danns was better than ambrose they all said that ambrose would never score more than 7 goals in a season, and yes they are all correct ambrose is crap
so i think we will get danns but we will not be getting your young full back,a deal has already been set up we are getting kyle naughton from spurs for 2 million pound, our full back orr has got to be one of the worst full backs we have ever had
I certainly wouldn't say that Ambrose is crap, the season before he was outstanding and without him we would have most certainly gone down. He has just been frustrated this season with a re-occurring injury which has cleared now and will hopefully give him the chance to rehabilitate and regain fitness over the summer and be ready for the new season.
Its fair to say though that on his day Danns is a better all round player than Ambrose, at times this season Danns has been unplayable, and at other times he has been awful, and when he is bad he is awful, but when playing well he is outstanding. We will definately miss his presence if he does leave.
Mackie was superb early season and had a real purple patch scoring goals for fun. But if you recall so did Agyemang when he first joined. Look how toilet he is now.
I think Mackie is a good player, has done well and works very hard. That effort though brings reward in the championship which is why even when he was not scoring he was doing okay. Premiership player though? Not for me. Just do not think he has the ability. Hope i am proved wrong if he stays.
Palace dave your last few posts have proved to me your not such a plum as I first thought! I think clyne will be priced highly by mr parish and co so I think he will go to a more established prem club. We won't be paying big money for a lad who has not played in the prem. I can see a few of our lads going to you next season, which I think you palace lot will like cause there are some good players leaving this summer. Mackie tho it won't be.
