When can teams in the premier league start signing players?

I played sunday league football today.
Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.
I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.
We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it! -
July 1st is when the window officially opens. But deals can be put in place at any time. -

Clubs can sign players when ever they want but can't play them until the next window is open.Comment
