    Chamakh's goal ratio.

We've been linked with the Arsenal striker several times recently and again today on Google. At 6'2", a Moroccan international and a mate of Taarabt's,he's got a pretty good goal return (ave.of a goal every 4 games across the board) at top level.

    56 in 230 for Bordeaux
    7 in 29 for Arsenal
    15 in 56 for Morocco.

Would link up well with AT should he decide to stay.

Probably not good enough for a top 4 side like Arsenal, but more then good enough for us if we want to establish as a mid table'ish prem side.

Will be essential in Taarabt's decision to stay.

Still think reports of us spending 12mill for him are well off the mark

It is a pretty good strike rate. Also with aerial ability and link up play I bet he must have a lot of assists to his name. Long term Arsenal season ticket holder was saying to me thinks he is a good player but not quite good enough for Arsenal. My doubts are: seven goals in 29 games (albeit in his first prem season) is not that amazing considering the service he must get at Arsenal; and jut can't see us paying anything like £12m, but if Arsenal were prepared to take a big, big hit on the fee, who knows? Maybe loan more realistic.

Most of those appearances have been from the bench to be fair, he's low on confidence at the moment... I don't blame him, the manager picks Bendtner before him!

chamakh is hardworking guy more than a big scorer even though he was good in his start with Arsenal this season and scored many goals, he s a kind that let everyone plays around him, make assist and wide spaces for them, good in the air though.

Yeah and at the start of the season when he was first choice he was scoring pretty regularly! As soon as Fabregas and Van Persie were back Arsenal changed how they played and he didn't get a look in!

So he would form a good partnership with Taarabt.

He's average at best, no doubt better than what we've got but 12 million?! I wouldn't pay more than 3m. If he can't score for Arsenal what chance will he have for us?!
