Walking to the Goldhawk and you could hear the place just erupt! People filtering out with 'have you heard the news?' BRILLIANT.

My wife phoned me while I was in the queue at the burger van on Ellerslie Road.

She was watching Football Focus, and rewound the Dan Roan announcement... and then played it to me down the phone while I was in the queue.
I put it on loudpeaker on my phone, and a few other in the queue listened to it.

                We went MENTAL.

I still have half a dozen ketchup stains, and a few fried onions dotted around my person.

                Then I got drunk.
After that, it's all a bit blurry....

Walking down Ellersleigh. Got a call and started shouting 'get in'. A few others on their phones getting the same news. One bloke looked at me and said 'have you heard what I heard?'

A few hugs and a massive roar followed. I was buzzing at this point. Champions.

I was on the phone too my Chelsea supporting Mum coming out of Shepherds Bush station and she told me, She's the only women to ever hear me cry on the phone.

Note: She was as pleased as me. Mind you she won’t be when we take 6 points off them next season.
