  • Warnock won't tinker against Leeds ‎

    By Paul Warburton

QPR boss Neil Warnock has ruled out any last-day tinkering with the team to face Leeds at the weekend – regardless of the FA verdict on Friday morning.

An FA independent tribunal could decide that seven breaches of rules over the transfer of midfielder Ali Faurlin demands Rangers are plunged back into the play-offs – or worse – out of the promotion mix altogether if they are docked sufficient points.

Rs fans are looking forward to an end-of-season party for the champions elect, and even if the FA decision goes in their favour there is unlikely to be an emotional recall for the likes of Lee Cook and Martin Rowlands, strongly tipped to leave the club in the summer.

Warnock said: "We’re awaiting news on Fitz (Hall), Paddy Kenny and Clint Hill – none of whom could play at Watford last weekend.

"But we owe it to everybody to put out our strongest team, and that means those who are match-fit and ready to take on a tough Leeds team."
