  • Is it true about Cardiff and Swansea?

What i read yesterday, that if it had been either of them who had committed the same so called offences, they would not have been charged under Welsh fa rules. If this is correct, and knowing how their players get off with suspensions, it might well be, it makes the whole thing even harder to swallow, especially has those 2 have most to gain.

Maybe we should ask to be tried by the FAW.

As Nodge says, yes. They are bound by the rules of the Welsh FA - which currently have no reference to the third party ownership issue. How can 2 teams competing in a league play under different rules to the rest of them? We all know they get different treatment than the rest of us on disciplinary matters and they clearly benefit from that. It is tantamount to cheating and certainly means the English members are not competing on a level playing field.

I hate the sheep shaggers even more now, if that's possible.

So if the third party rule is not applicable to them, if it goes our way and we are not deducted points, could they try and sue us for loss of earnings in a civil court, as Sheff Utd done to West Ham ?

And we could argue if we are deducted points and they benefit from our points deduction when they do not play to the same rules ?

Surely not as they won't have a basis using two different FAs rules.

They could try but would be unsuccessful. They've lost nothing. Didn't get enough points and Faurlin was eligible in all the games they played against us.

My view, if it goes our way and no points are deducted then that is because we were not guilty of fielding an ineligible player - because that appears to be the only one of the charges where a points deduction is relevant?
With Tevez, the civil law suit was down to the punishment rather than the decision - WHU were guity of fielding a 3rd party player and the ruling meant Sheff U got relegated...........WHU were guity and damages were found to be a reasonable compensation.
No points against us means not guilty so no one would succeed with any civil suit.

EXCEPT US....................why don't we sue the FA and the Sun and others for the mental anguish caused by all this and for depriving us of our Human Right to celebrate properly when we won the title!
