to those who said it could never happen...Arsenal Player Linked..Merged Thread

Queens Park Rangers manager Neil Warnock is hopeful of bringing £12million-rated Arsenal striker Marouane Chamakh to Loftus Road this summer. The 27-year-old has had a mixed first season in English football, following a successful start he has struggled to adapt to the rigours of the Premier League.
The Moroccan international has scored seven goals in 26 league games but has seen his status fall behind Robin van Persie and Nicklas Bendtner in the Gunners’ pecking order.
Sources from inside Qpr say both sides are keen on the deal with boss Warnock keen to add firepower to his squad and Chamakh happy to join up with international team-mate Adel Taarabt.
The two friends are often seen out together in London and would love to link up on the pitch as well as off it.
Warnock believes Chamakh would be a great addition as he aims to keep Qpr in the Premier League.
Rangers secured top flight status for the first time in 15 years last Saturday but celebrations could be delayed until after the Football Association’s verdict on the Alejandro Faurlin case.
The club is being investigated over allegations of irregularities into his transfer in 2009 from Argentinian club Instituto de Cordoba, which could lead to a points deduction.

£12m fee & his £50k+ a week wages would be a huge signal of intent.

Liverpool & Spurs were interested last summer so I doubt we'd bid uncontested.

Sign Naughton, Bougherra, O'Hara, Routledge and Chamakh and you're laughing!!
        Under Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
        And many more mistakes

LES FERDINAND, IT'S TIME TO GO

This a bit tenuous to say the least. Based on the fact they are both Moroccan and mates. EPN, you, according to your signature, are a mate of Mackie's. No disrespect, but I really hope we don't sign you on that basis.

Top, Top Signing for us.. If the owners are backing us as they seem to be suggesting in recent press, this could happen.

Bump the yearly loss from 13 to 30mil for a few seasons and then build a new ground to give the club a chance at sustainability.

If this is the plan then Chamak could come.

What about Berbatov or Stiliyan Petrov, or Martin Petrov (we need someone on the left wing) ?
