To be honest in the end I think we will just get a fine, I've said this all along. I'm not trying to dampen anyone's spirits but just writing what I've been told by someone who wouldn't be lying about it! I'm putting it down to a slightly over enthusiastic chairmen, if not then the FA are taking the **** and will hopefully get screwed by our legal team!

I'm not claiming to be in the know like a lot of people on here do but I can assure it's not a load of **** and came directly from someone who would have heard this.

I agree not willing to screw over the person that it came from though! But it's out there now and I know people on here know people at the club...

Also if it is true what I've been told (and I'm sceptical just because it seems ridiculous that the FA would do this) then I wouldn't be surprised if we had already found out about it! Could well be the basis for the Mirror article!

I don't believe for one second that the FA would pass on new dates for the Play Offs, especially knowing if it was leaked it would completely screw up the hearing, unless we too had been given new dates!?

I know, if true then it's a monumental **** up by then FA. I've no doubt that the chairman has said this (As I know who it's come from) but whether he was just giving it the big one or shall we say over embellshing something he had been told is another matter!
It's very likely that the Sun reporter got his info from a source, exactly how true it is remains to be seen and the more info that appears to have come from the FA gets banded about the less likely it is that they would be able to bring a case against us anyway! Seems like they leak worse than we used too!

Very interesting! Seems to me as if the FA could well have been giving it the big one to media/other clubs and could well be intent on docking points when in reality they don't have much of a case and our legal team are fairly confident they will be able to prove as much resulting in a fine at worst!
