    Just watched him on QPR world. I feel a lot more positive He seems to talk a lot of sense so I will back him all the way for the new season.

      I liked the fact he said if any player don't deliver the goods, no matter who they are they will be replaced.

              I agree, not exactly moist with excitment but let's get behind him & see what happens with transfers etc before we right him off totally.

              We could have Gordon Brown in charge, now that would be a clucking disaster!!!!:chill:

                    Not my first choice by a long way but I will give him a chance, all depends now on who is brought in to strengthen the strike force and the squad. He did have Ipswich playing the right way, so better than some of the CCC managers we were linked with. My major concern was the inconsistency of Ipswich, one season win everything at home and nothing away and last season win away and not at home.

                        Maybe the club has learnt its lessons, he has been employed as a manager not 1st team coach. Not one mention of the playoffs, just improving on 11th.

                        Oh and the irony of Pete asking to give someone a chance has not been lost
