Don't think you can ever really put it down to one game, even back in 75-6 people said we lost the title by losing at Norwich at Easter, but our last 15 games were something like Won 13 Drew 1 Lost 1, I always considered we lost that title by not winning away between August and January.
But hey.............we ARE still clear at the top!

Watford at home was the game that "goofed" us up, teams thought we were unbeatable until that game, scarey thing for me is leeds followed that game and beat us, last 2 games, de ja vu anyone.

The thing that messed us up was the faurlin paperwork, ever since that has come out the players havent performed as well. Players have said it effected ali in a big way aswell.

Watford were on a winless run which ended with a win against QPR and started their good run of about 5 straight wins. When they were 2-0 up many thought they would throw away the lead again as they had often done during Oct & Nov.

Yes, and when the hearing date was announced it was after the good performance against Sheffield United -- and the subsequent four games have been really poor.
This whole thing has seen our lead go from 12 points to 5 points -- I don't believe it's end-of-season jitters, I think it's purely all the media speculation about the points (which the FA have never mentioned).
