Know what you're saying but I think he would flourish under Neil's management. I believe he still has something to offer.

he's got a career record of better than 1 in 3 - not many strikers can boast that sort of record over a 450 game period.

he's on 70k a week and won't take a 50k drop in salary, so it's a moot point anyway, he's not coming here!

Arsenal strikers (and I use the term loosely) seem perpetually unable to hit a cow's backside with a banjo. Bender is a prime example so I'd avoid him. We want goals, goals and more goals - he won't give us that.
