Reminiscing that it was bank holiday Monday in 1983 when we beat Fulham 3-1 to confirm promotion to the first division (as it was then) and I think confirmed winning the league at the same time.
Great day - the loft (standing) was sold out and we had to sit in the Upper Loft in P Block. My mate's fault for not putting any oil in his car which broke down on the A40 in Greenford.
I'm back in the Upper Loft again today so must be a good omen (although I will check the car for oil this time).
