My point exactly on another thread Stanley. All these assurances are completely worthless. Equally the FA's case might be thinner than we think. We just don't know. All I will say is that deal seemed murky from the start - we all thought so, with the astronomical fee etc. Whether there's been legal wrong-doing and if so how serious, no one on here has a clue so pointless asking I'm afraid.

Think if you listen more carefully Ads Neil describes him as "independent" but goes on to say he has been hired by the club. As I've said on another thread if a barrister is being paid by you he is not independent, whatever NW might think. Barristers v rarely talk their cases down in advance to clients - not good for business!

No agenda here, but NW is hardly going to say "We're fooked", even if he knew we were, is he?

You have to take anything, positive OR negative, with a pinch of salt at this stage to be honest. It's in the hands of the gods.

And a truly independent barrister wouldn't now the details of the case. I think what NW meant was that he contacted and spoke to the QPR barrister independently of the club. Anyway, we've got another fish to fry down in Cardiff and maybe Hull before that, so we might as well forget about the FA hearing until at least we've secured promotion on the pitch.
