Looked through the squad and have to say its only Scott Parker and he'll end up at Spurs..

So anyone else at Upton park that could do a job for us. once they are relegatred?

      Robbie Keane

Did you know that 11 members of the West Ham first team squad of 25 are on £50k a week or over.....?

Relegation is a Portsmouth-esque nightmare scenario hanging over them - with greater long term consequences.

Not really, they are where they are for a reason and that reason is collectively they are not very good.

I think its more to do with having a crappy manager and board Paul. Some very good players in their squad.

Off the top of my head,

                Scott Parker
                Carlton Cole
                Frédéric Piquionne
                Thomas Hitzlsperger
                Matthew Upson
                Mark Noble
                Lars Jacobson

                would all improve our squad.

i'd also consider Faubert, Collins, Gabbidon, Ba,

Obinna & Keane are high earning loanees.

Bridge is on £70k+ a week. No chance.

Ba's knees are absolutely shot, he's a walking disaster zone, Sjoke pulled out of signing him due to his condition, WHU were so desperate they took a risk.

I think they will be safe personally although their next two games are tough (Chelsea & City away). Wigan, Wolves and Blackpool for the drop.

I'd take Mark Noble, Hitzlsperger and maybe Junior Stanislas (good youngster)

Realistically unless the Board release the proverbial H bomb in signing a marquee player (which "could" be Keane but more likely to be someone from Italy via Briatore's connections) - we can't afford anyone worth having from West Ham.

Possibly Noble, Collison (if fit), Hines or Sears - but would they add anything whatsoever to the squad?

They're ALL losers; we should buy winners. I don't mean that in a snidey way.... I just don't like buying players with no background of winning games. I'd rather buy someone from say, Brighton who'd be used to winning than someone from West Ham, who'd be conditioned to seldom winning games.

I went to the West Ham/Villa game on Saturday. Some of the players you've mentioned there looked very poor.

Agree to a point but they have too many players, who are earning too much money, who are not prepared to put in a shift, so avoid at all costs.

Better players available who would suit the way we play.
