I've always been in the minority as I don't mind Flavio if he didn't buy our club we wouldn't be Premiership next season more like League one or two

Pete IYO do you think they will still be incharge after what Brian said?
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

I can't see how Flavio has too much say in the running of the club if he has sold the majority of his shares to Bernie.

If he'd still been the majority shareholder and been as involved as he obviously was in team selection, we'd have been relegated the end of last season and looking at League 2 next season.

My feelings are that i appreciate them for coming in to buy us out when it looked like we may have gone under.

Based on what we hear and have read since Flavio hasnt been directly man managing the club we seem to be alot more stable

But the real thanks goes to the manager his staff and the players.

Thought Flavio was now a mere £20 spectator.

What's meant to be happening with these Americans? All gone quiet on that front.

He is, but I think Bernie pays the rest. Is there any danger of him keeping his footballing mouth shut forever?

bernie has never shouted his gob off like flavio so still think the same about him...Flavio is still the same but we knew what we were getting as he has always been the same...Giani on the other hand is still as dodgy as ever and buys his friends and then lines them up to be his mouthpiece......The man we have to thank for this season is Neil Warnock as its his management style that has turned the team around.....

I haven't really given them a thought until you just mentioned there names on this thread, just hope they can sort out this Gianni Mess and get rid of him then deal with whats happening re premiership, funding etc.

I don't think anyone can really argue with what they have done but there are loads of issues around how they've gone about it. Problem with someone so high profile as Briatore is that he is a magnet for the press and he's at a certain level where he feels his comments don't need editing. Another owner would talk via the press team where comments would be filtered into media/fan friendly soundbites. Flavio goes full guns blazing as this is what he is used to in F1 where you don't have fans dissecting every single utterance. But he's been more in the background over the past 12 months. BE has been fine - same level of press coverage etc but if I was an 80 year old multi billionaire I wouldn't give two hoots about what people thought about my statements!

I don't think Ali Russell added anything to the cause aside a horrible elitist ticketing policies that were universally unpopular.
