Which players are still in the Premiership from our last time there??

    Which players are still in the Premiership from our last time there??

    I can only think of Ryan Giggs and Paul Scholes who have both unsurprisingly scored against us.

    Can anyone think of anyone else??
    First game: Arsenal vs Queen's Park Rangers at Highbury, Saturday 17th November 1984.

                          Pretty sure it's only the United players. Scholes, Giggs, Neville (P). Maybe Nicky Butt? Is he still at Newcastle? Campbell made his Spurs debut in 1993, so entirely feasible. Not sure he's played this season though and definitely won't be around next year.

                          Phillips was still at Watford when we went down. Sunderland didn't get promoted until three years after we got relegated.

                              Didn't Owen and Carragher both debut for Liverpool in our last year? Didn't play against us that I recall but think they were playing 1st team on and off. Maybe not. Can't be asked to look it up!

                                  The Bolton keeper lol is a definate one as remember playing against them on a Tuesday night

                                      Jaaskelainen joined Bolton in 1997, we were relegated 1996.

                                      Frank Lampard & Rio Ferdinand both made their debuts that season.

                                      Beckham was about that season and will be back in the Prem next year.

                                                          No, he made his debut the season after, as did Michael Owen.

                                                          Shay Given was at Blackburn the season we went down.

                                                          Steve Harper was at Newcastle.
