What do people think that the fine well be what we would get in prize money for winning the championship title?

Now the FA have all the paperwork its even conceivable they may even drop the case before it goes to tribunal. Admittedly thats a small chance, but its an absolute certainity that

(a) we won't be deducted points
(b) Faurlin has always been eligible
(c) the agent involved has no charges brought against him by the FA, which you would expect bearing in mind the Tevez case if it was that serious.
(d) The FA had been been given all the details of the case to them by the Football league and as it first came under there jurisdiction in the first place, they had every right to decline the transfer which they did not.The question of it being passed onto the FA came later on, when Faurlin's contract was improved.
(e) The legal team (one person Not even publicised) dealt with the West Ham case where they were not deducted points and that was a far far more serious case/

Surely the FA will say to the Independant commision,
"look we dont want this dragging out etc, as we have the playoffs and premier league to answer to"
They will tell the independant commision by means of a briefing before , giving their guidelines to an outcome surely.

Quite - nobody could know - the Chair of the Panel will not know. It needs to be a majority decision. If anyone claims to know they are claiming to have managed to corrupt a majority of the FRA panel. Really? Bull and ******.

Plus even if you did have David Ellaray's kids in your basement under ransom for news of the verdict you'd be a right **** to be on here going on about it. Having gone to all that trouble wouldn't it be a better to keep quiet and go and get your house on Rangers for the title since this is the only reason the odds are as long as they are (which aint long now but will move on the basis of this knowledge!)

no one knows. Simple. So my advice is relax. Points deduction is but one of the many many things they can do. Most penalties are lesser. Why is no one claiming they will expel us from the Football League. Coz they could.

Seem to remember reading a statement from the club IIRC that they admitted to something but claimed ignorance, which can be claimed is not an excuse.

(f) nothing is certain; we are guilty of something be it deliberate or not; the club has just about admitted that
(g) ah yes, the Tevez affair. Everyone associated with game knows that was about a third party ownership issue and yet those responsible for setting up transfers within our club didn't think there'd be a problem in paying individuals a fee for a player rather than a club. Shocking that some still maintain individuals haven't done anything wrong...

It's rubbish Jack. it just says QPR are expecting just a big fine rather than points. We have known that all along but until the fa make a decision we are still left in the dark. Sounds like we will accept a fine though.

My only worry about all this is that the FA might impose a tougher penalty on us because we are contesting the charges if we are found guilty.

Could you imagine the uproar if we got hit with a west ham style hefty fine! There would be some names thrown around as to who we could have signed rather than paying out a fine. GP would have to run for the hills!!
