Not good, if Adel catches wind of this that's it, him staying for another season with us as was previously said will all go out the window within seconds, Us or Real Madrid? Our only chance would be if Neil can use some really good man management skills and Real are prepared to wait.

Is the inevitable about to happen? I didn't think it would be this soon, oh well.

Taarabt isnt ready for real madrid yet and Jose has no intentions for building for the future - look at his squad. Its all win now players. They signed pedro leon and sergio canales in the future, both bright young spanish stars and they have been given ZERO chance. Taarabt would need time to develop but he wouldnt play very often for madrid

In that article they say that Real scouts were following Adel for several months and reports says he is excellent .

Well at least we know they are capable of writing a big fat cheque.

If their scouts are monitoring they will want to see him play in the PL on a regular basis. Paying us £1 million for first refusal on Adel is nothing to a team like Real.

Really you wouldn't expect it to say anything else, they are always doing this with players.
When i lived in Madrid there were two main Sports papers which people bought, MARCA and AS.
MARCA concentrated on everything Real Madrid (hence the Adel story)
and AS also printed in Madrid although having a little Real Madrid seemed to concentrate more on Atl Madrid. (probably reason for no mention of Adel in there)

Barca had their own being catalan but other clubs were just snippets really compared to the coverage these papers gave their 'main clubs' and they were always bigging up players (i suspect inside info from said club, scouts etc) offers coming not long after funnily.

My spanish is not as good now but i do try to read these papers on the odd occasion and have always thought it a good idea that there is a separate paper for 'sports' lovers.

                            Would definately work over here.

To be honest if he stays or goes I will love him as a player, same as Walker ( Though he has already left )
                              Under Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
                              And many more mistakes

LES FERDINAND, IT'S TIME TO GO
