    Tactics--For The Prem

okay, I hate to assume we are going up, but just for argument's sake, looking at the squad, factoring in a few new players, what do you think our main formation should be next season?

    Do we stick with 4-2-3-1
    Do we stick to 4-4-2?

if you were warnock, what would you do?
should we have more defensive mifielders?
more wingers? I think we should have more
defenders as in 5 at the back, 4 in the middle, one in front, so my suggestion is 5-4-1

    what do you guys think?

    4-4-2 is dead.

stick to what we do best and train for. 4-2-3-1. Everyone at QPR knows how to use that system to their advantage. And just think with a little good additions even the top guns may not cope with QPR !!

4-2-3-1 is the future and can be changed in a heart beat to 4-5-1 to be more defensive or 4-3-3 to be more attacking and more importantly, we have players that just slot in like for like when subs are made. It really makes me laugh that as we look to be playing in the premier league next season, people suggest we need to change the way we play, the songs we sing, they way we celebrate goals........................

Think Warnock will play it the same way he has this season.

You won't see Kenny rolling out to the defence thats for sure, we will play a bit like Stoke and Bolton who to be fair, never really look like getting relegated. Plus we have flair with Taarabt and Faurlin, which they don't have.

Depending on wether Adel´s staying with us or not or not, I think!

But 4-3-2-1 sounds about right to me. A interchangeable system(Like all systems are actually, lol.)

The system is set and the players we get in, need to fit into the system and that's why Graham from Watford would be my priority purchase. If Adel goes, Buzz's best position is behind the striker and in fairness, Tommy Smith played vet well behind Heider in the last 15-20 minutes v Sheffield Utd.

Play our current system but unlike blackpool our tactics will change depending on our opponent. Warnock is savvy enough to go very defensive vs teams like arsenal and chelsea whereas Holloway plays same way every game which is costing them at the moment.

I agree with you concerning a set system. Would like to think most successful clubs have that as a priority.
But if Adel goes I believe we have to buy a better player than Buzz of 2011?? OR? (Enlighten me on his recent class, if neccessary!)
Graham looks class for the future and I would like us to sign Bellamy(He will act like a choirboy under the Warnock regime) for his entusiasm.
                      Ismael Miller is a must.

I agree that Tommy Smith played really well in that match. Worked tiredlessly and is so mobile. A great teamplayer!
All is not lost if Adel goes during the summer, thats for sure?

In that respect he seems a bit naive, but Do they really have a team to play otherwize?

Maybe we could get Adam if they get relegated?

Charlie Adam was a two bob player, until Holloway let him do what he does best in the middle at Blackpool and if Adel goes, a fit Buzz is a world class player in his position behind the striker. I appreciate that some may not like him for what ever reason, but I think that if Buzz was afforded the same stuff Adel gets, playing in is favored position behind the striker, he would be awesome.
