Furlong instead of Helguson in the best XI.

Also for consideration for the worst:

Think you're being harsh on Karl Ready, Clarke and even Hately.

              Brett Angell
              Michel Ngonge
              Fraser Digby

              All rubbish

Was Brazier really that bad? Rose? He had good games. There are plenty of players who never had good games and were better off it then on!!
              Also, John Spencer?? Average.

                      Kennedy ahead of Taarabt???
Keneddy played about 2 decent games of a 5 game loan spell??

                      Also Furs better than Gallen.

All Kennedy's games were really special - he would get in a "best" XI team purely on the night he singlehandedly destroyed top of the table Middlesbrough despite not scoring a goal. Hadn't seen anything like it since Stan was in his pomp and yet to see anything similar since from anyone, even Taarabt.

Not signing Kennedy permanently condemned us to half the problems experienced since.

Saw him in 2 or so games he was average, Stockport away I think..
No where near Adel Im afraid.
Lee camp had a bigger effect on the team in loan spells than kennedy.

I think in order to judge the impact of Furlong,Kennedy you have to take in account the team they played in and the level of opposition they played against.

furlong was immense for us but mainly in the Second Division. Wasn't as consistent as Helguson is in the Championship. Kennedy was playing in a **** poor QPR team compared to todays standards so I guess his impact was more noticable. Two goals and an assist against Crewe and a demolition job of Middlesbrough however in my opinion doesn't constitute half a season of tearing teams apart as Adel has done this season.

Of course its all up to debate this is an forum for opinions after all. Here's one for you is Kenny really a better goalkeeper then Lee Camp? Or do we look through it with rose tinted specs due to Camps attitude during his last few months at LR?

Kennedy not in the mix for me....as bad as we have been-we can't have a 5 gamer in our best team.
