Its 45 years today that Rodney made his home debut scoring twice in the 6-1 win against Millwall.

I was there, as a young teenager, behind the goal at the Loft end. It was manic.

Anyone remember, the anouncer said any millwall fans runs on the pitch the game would be abandoned.

As they were losing 6-1............o dear lol.

Yep I was there too, Millwall fans invaded the pitch-cnts even then lol.
Millwall got promoted that year, at one point we were about 6points behind with games in hand to bridge the gap, but failed to do so. I think that was the game when we realised there was something serious about to happen.

I was standing in the boys pen behind the goal at the Loft end.
Alex Stepney was in goal for Millwall and I remember the Millwall at the School end trying to get the game abandoned things dont change !
