Why would a glory hunter "go back to Stamford Bridge"?

Surely if they were a glory hunter, they've never left? Chelsea's golden years, PL Champions 3 times in 5 seasons, Champions League finalists and regular semi finalists, and more domestic silverware than you can shake a stick at.

So, why would a "glory hunter" go BACK to Stamford Bridge? Are we nothing more than a piece of rough on the side?
