Don't try and claw back some respect by making out I'm over-hyping him, mate. I've not said anything other than he's had a good season, and has proved many wrong, including myself. More so you, though. Still hate and detest the guy? Great way to try and support the man.

In any case, it's not just about the goals. He's been instrumental in leading our line. Winning the vast majority of aerial challenges he goes up for, and bringing Taarabt and Adel into things.

As I said, I was as mythed as most at his #9 status, but he's proved to be worth that position, and deserves credit.

Try giving a little. You might enjoy it.

Its not only the 12 goals, its his link up play thats been very good.

Far better than any other striker on our books.
