    Terracing coming back?

The Football Supporters' Federation has launched a petition to try to reintroduce standing and Hugh Robertson says the government will examine evidence

Interesting. Standing was good for chanting as well as good value for money. Hope it returns with safety standards.

I hope they try and bring terraces back but they have to be in the right situation. Our groung is ideal for this, Paddocks and lower tiers behind the goals.

I would love it to happen, but don't think this government will have the balls to do it.

this is their website http://www.fsf.org.uk/. It was bad policing that caused the problems before, not fan's behaviour. Interestingly, some of the new build stadiums cannot be changed over to terracing because of design and load issues. Older grounds are ok.

Love it to happen but having spent thousands and sometimes even millions converting and even building new grounds into all seater stadiums can you really see clubs spending similar amounts converting grounds back to terracing?

                  erm

erm i think maybe we could just turn the paddocks into terracing and maybe the loft end, just ther bottom tier i think these areas would have to be season ticket only

Not good enough police segregation in this case. I know what you mean. Crowd behaviour can be violent if not managed. Let's face it, millwall would have been up in our stand a few weeks ago without police management

Bernie won't allow it in the director's box anyway

All seating has so much killed atmosphere, and too expensive for ordanary fans.

BRING BACK STANDING GIVE FANS A CHOICE, that choice should never have been taken away.

Standing areas would be safer then standing where seats are, cos if anyone goes forward and trips on the back rests it will cause a domino effect. Our paddocks is perfect and should be all round the ground.

There is absolutely no way on God's green earth that you'd see a reduction in price in the event of standing being re-introduced.

Why not Nodge, more fans would occupy the same area, therefore the club budgets accordingly.
