What is Ferguson really banned from . So he gets to sit in the stands rather than on the bench !!

Hardly a punishment !!

He's not banned from taking part in the game and doing his job , teamtalks , dressing room etc wheras gatusso IS banned from doing his job !!

Also - comparing to a player ban is like comparing apples and oranges. The Manager can still do his job 5 rows back, some even prefer it.

But I do take the point about him still being able to direct the game from the stands. Not the same fruit, I agree.
I'm not "painting" any picture.. the variations in punishments from various governing bodies seems odd to me. Proportion seems to be missing.

can see what your doing.....If its in the contracts to come out and speak after a game then why shouldnt they say what they like. I for one am a big fan of ferguson, the ref that game was woeful.
