Absolutely buzzing, great game to watch from a rangers perspecitve. We took the p*ss first half, knocked it about well but gave away a stupid goal. Second half we played very well, good atmosphere and we shut up those big scary ultras by doing our talking on the pitch, they can stick their poxy turkish songs up there ####.
Kenny - Did what he had to do well, couldnt do much about the goal. Quality keeper, i never felt edgy about him making a mistake.
Orr - Best game I've seen him play in a rangers shirt, got forward well and was solid at the back.
Hall - Blinding, had a brilliant game. Proved all the doubters wrong with this one. MOTM.
Gorkks - Did well, got dragged out of position a few times but he was solid.
Hill - Solid as per usual, won the ball in the air as well as putting in strong challenges.
Derry - That was the performance of a captain. Gave 110% and was still chasing down the ball in the 94th minute, put in strong challenges and was comfortable in posession.
Faurlin - Best performance in ages. He proved he is worth the £5million fine and all the hassle we're getting from it. Quality performance from a quality player.
Smith - Far too slow for my liking in the first half, he slowed down posession when we were attacking and he couldnt beat clyne at all. Improved second half but he didnt look anywhere near match fit IMO
Taarabt - Oh my god. Some of the tricks he did today were unbelievable, how can he have three players around him and do a little flick and leave them standing there like mugs? Was a threat the whole game, knocked the ball about well. Deserved a goal. To be honest he really took the p*ss with his tricks, i am so happy I get to watch him every week. He is worth the price of a season ticket alone, he makes other players look like amateurs. And I think I saw him win his first header in a rangers shirt.
Routledge - Quiet first half but put himself about in the second. Not great but an ok performance.
Helguson - Great performance, won headers, brought others in to play, held the ball up and scored a real poachers goal. As per usual he slotted away his penalty, he really makes it look easy.
Subs
Ephraim - Didnt have time to make an impact but he looked really motivates and ready to prove a point.
Buzsaky - Same as ephraim, he could be really important during the run in.
This match really was a pleasure to watch, the scorline flattered palace IMO. We were complacent in the first half but did well to get the win. 10 points clear now and some tough games ahead.
I've only got one moan, in the second half taarabt tried to drag the ball with his right foot when he was looking the other way (like he does most matches), it rolled down the line and they got a throw on by the corner flag. Why were people hitting shouting, screaming and throwing hissy fits at adel for trying something different? Dont be a d*ckhead. Why do you even turn up? We were 2-1 up and in complete control, he is the reason we are where we are so why give him abuse when something doesnt come off? Its not even like we were losing.
Oh well, the game was a pleasure to watch for me.
