    Why does a possible points deduction apply in 2010/11 Surely it should impact on last season's points?

              It's a very fair point.
              The main problem seems to be about last season.

                  They knew about this in Sept 10, yet waited until March 11 to press charges.


                  It is all to petty and pathetic. FIFA allows 3rd party ownerhip in S.America and as the overule governing football body they should instruct the FA to stop being so petty.

                  Cheating is diving to win free kicks or penalties and getting opponents sent off. Who cares who owns a players' economic rights?
