Very salient point that has been overlooked.

Also - much depends on Faurlin's "eligibility" - if not registered - you can be deducted 3pts for every game of the period concerned. In our case 18 points. Wimbledon had something similar over Jermain Darlington 4 years back involving a foreign FA (albeit the Welsh). They were deducted 18 pts by the FA, reduced to 2pts on appeal.

I think that's the point that everyone is missing. If falsification of documents is involved, the points deduction will be small fry. We're talking criminal proceedings.

By the statement we have as good as admitted we were in the wrong and it's now down to mitigating circumstances. If that's our approach during the hearing then we must be strong and distance ourselves from the individual concerned. I'm sure we'll have legal experts going through the documents right now and I suspect someone will be getting the boot prior to the hearing.
