Has A Date Been Set For The Hearing?

Is there a chance that it may drag on through to the end of the season and any points could be deducted (If it goes down that route), off any tally from next year?

Almost certainly not. If a points deduction was deemed appropriate but then deferred to next season (when presumably we would be a PL CLub) the teams below us in the promotion race would all argue that we have taken their place in the PL and therefore denied them to right to claim that place. A very expensive Class action would no doubt ensue - and after the messy way the Tevez affair was dealt with I suspect some harsh lessons have been learnt by the authorities, who will want their procedural house firmly in order.

The FA are waiting for QPR to officially respond to the charges before any hearing can be organised.

Until we submit our defence/responce, nothing can happen.

There will be meetings at Loftus Road today and we'll see what happens with an official defence....
