I don't think anyone is going to name names and I wouldn't take it personally. You have always paid money and shown great loyalty and that should be respected.
However yourself and Pete, who have continually backed and supported Gianni, well this has done neither of you any favours and I would expect some stick if I was you mate. You have both been bitten on the backside this time and your just have to admit you were wrong.
