Over past 10 yrs the 2nd placed team has averaged 87pts - that suggests you need an average of 88 to come top. Over same period, the champs have averaged 95 pts.
Stoke came 2nd with a lowly 79pts 3 seasons ago - I reckon the duffers in our wake are gonna struggle to get even that; suspect someone's gonna come up in 2nd with 76 (or less) pts.

Did that BBC predictor thing 2 weeks ago and we ended up Champions on 89 points Cardiff 2nd with 86 ! Still think Cardiff will do it although Terry Burton was looking more than agrieved last night on the Football League show, so the pressure is telling.
