Not sure if anyone else there saw it but Tarrabt had to be turned back from the tunnel by NW and pretty much pushed towards us at the end of the game .... no doubt the boy has been totally instrumental in our promotion but i spent a lot of money and a lot of time taking me and my 3 "Tarrabt adoring" lads upto Boro and thought it just a tad rude ! Hey Ho.

I don't think he'll ever change but that is often difficult for young children to understand. Some players are just naturally decent human beings who can see the bigger picture (they know that fans spend a lot of time and money to watch games) whilst others aren't. I'm not saying that Taraabt isn't a nice guy but he does have to be persuaded into thanking the fans whereas someone like Shaun Derry doesn't ever have to.
For us as adults we can appreciate that if he performs on the pitch thats all that matters but as I said children won't see it like that and that's not fair on them when their favourite player turns their back on them.Comment

From time to time I read that Taaabt gets abuse from Rangers fans if he play below expectations. Maybe this could be the reason?
