I disagree chris, we dont need 10 world class players. I mean tottenham have probably 2 world class players in there team (bale and vdv) but have been smart and built around these two. Arsenal have 2 world class players (fabregas and nasri) and although they are overrated massively by arsenal fans they do their job well. Its amazing that a team with bendtner, almunia and djourou in can be top 4.

Depends what you call world class buz, imo Modric is a lot better then VDV and Bale.

Not fussed about expenditure, the one thing we must ensure next season if promoted is that regardless on how we perform is we stick with Warnock. That means even if we end up getting relegated because behind the scenes Warnock and his team are laying the foundations for the future of this club. Team cohesion and spirit far more important than any big money signings, I don't believe we need to spend fortunes to stay up nor do I think we will.

We don't know what the agreement was between Warno and the pay masters if Warno did take us up. If there was something, and I'm sure Warno must have agreed to it cos i just cannot see Warno signing for us just to go up then down.

IMO only these players would suit the premiership - Kenny, Shittu, Connolly, Faurlin, Buzsacky, Taarabt, Routledge, Smith and maybe Mackie.

Cerny would be a good replacement for Kenny and Hall for Shittu but thats probably it. So I guess £40million would get us another 14 or so players. Derry, Orr, Hill, and the like could do a turn in the cup competitions but wouldn't make the 25 PL squad.

Tarrabt will be sold so I suppose we'll need £50mil!!

we will be TOP 4 in the EPL. I have said something before the start of the season and some here were laughing at me! I have said that Adel had a plan as the one of Maradona at Napoli. and I said he will take up to the EPL. now after 34 games, thats what happening. ANY TEAM in ANY league has Taarabt will fight for the TOP 4 place. and I will stand by this and you will see again.

would you not say that van persie is world class? that wilshere is not getting there at least? we need at least 3 world class players to get into top 6 and can add to that another 4 top premiership players who have been there done it like derry is in championship

e) playing to a system and sticking to it

Many of us have a soft spot for Olly, but Blackpool will go down next season if not this one. They are not geared for the Prem at all.

We need to spend min £10 million or we are going to be relying on luck or other teams being just worse than us. To make sure we stay up we will need to spend.

And talk about top 4 is utterly ludicrous. Would need to spend 200 million for that and even then we would have to triple it to attract top players to a small club.
