... and we're safe from relegation.

    36 points clear - 12 games left.
Our goal difference should help though.

On the plus side... Preston and Sheff Utd can't catch us already with 12 games to go. Not even March.

            One more point?
Should manage that out of the remaining 12 games.
Then we can all breathe a HUGE sigh of relief...

thats what I've been doing these last two weeks, crossing off the teams who can't overtake us, Palace and Scunthorpe next week if the results go our way, saddo or what
I must away now, I can no longer tarry
This morning's tempest I have to cross
I must be guided without a stumble
Into the arms I love the most

**** I was so looking forward to playing Palace again but in Div 1 next season, oh well guess we'll have to put up with the Premiership then.

And everyone would have to win all their games, which is impossible

If we're honest, I don't think anyone on here really sees us bothering the bottom half of the table this year - no matter how much doom and gloom they may spout. Personally, at my most pessimistic, I can't see us below the top six.

Safe a long time ago once you get past 50-52 pts it's almost impossible to go down because all the othe teams have to drop pts

I think the OP just did this as a mathematical exercise with a big smile on his face.
