Derry. Our demise last season happened the moment Mahon got injured. We lacked leadership, fight and commitment. This season Derry has had all three in bucket loads and we've flourished as a result.

Of course Kenny has been immense and Taraabt's goals/assists have been vital but for energy, leading by example, bite, consistency and heart Derry has been everything that we've lacked for years.

I'm not saying that the loss of Mahon was the sole reason of course there were many others factors but without an engine not even a Ferrari can run. Derry is the engine (a better and more consistent) just like Mahon before him.

In any other season any one of Kenny, Derry, and Hill would be the worthy winners, but the reason without a doubt why we are where we are is Adel Tarrabt and for anyone else to win would be criminal.

ATM Kenny for me. 19 clean sheets tells it's own tale but AT would be a very close second

Adel is not only our player of the season he is the division's player of the season by a country mile. He has been a different league to everyone, including Bellamy, Boothroyd, Sinclair etc. Don't get me wrong I'm hugely appreciative of what Kenny and Derry and several other unsung heroes such as Clint Hill have done this season but ultimately if they had got injured I do believe Warno could have replaced them but how, possibly, could we have replaced Adel? He has been the difference between us and everyone else in the division.
I'm with you on this! I rate the work Derry, Kenny et all have done as much as anyone. HOWEVER I think if you take Taarabt out of our squad there is now way we would have a chance of automatic promotion. Kenny and Derry for example could be replaced by other players who might not be quite as good but would come close. I don't think you can replace what Adel has given us this season and for that reason he has to be Player Of The Season!

This is a really tough one... we have many winners for this.

Derry has been consistently superb. Can understand why Taarabt is leading, his magic is world class but without Dezza we wouldnt be top IMO.

Don't like him at all but it must be Taarabt anyway. He has been the difference in more than one game.
