absolute master stroke by NW. It feels like we have just signed 3 new players and the squad is even stronger but in fact all he has done is mix the players up. As you say, with Smith back next week then the side is suddenly looking so much better.

I felt is was getting a bit stale recently. I suppose it was a huge gamble that paid off as it could have easily gone the other way. That's why NW is the best manager in the CCC!!!!

Amazing that you have failed to highlight the real reason why the goals are flying in is because of Helguson's return to the line up in place of Hulse the stats for the season speak for themselves nothing to do with Shittu, Hall and Buzsaky.

Hall was very good today, and seems to work well with Shittu.

Off course its good to shake things up when it looks like things are going stale but how the original poster can highlight 2 centre halves for the goals flying in when a striker returning to the starting 11 has responded with 4/3 games is beyond me.

Would like to know how Buzsaky performed today though

The reason I highlighted these 3 players is because NW just started to use this formation with Buz, Shi.ttu and Hall after HH has just come back from an injury who was playing before

HH has been the main player in getting the last 2 wins thats without question

To state that they had nothing to do with the wins is a bit silly though

Look at the goalscoring stats for HH in the team and out of the team this season you'll be surprised. I read a piece by David McIntrye on the way we play with HH in the team and have to agree its less direct with balls to feet. I am adamant that playing Hulse up front was the reason why we were averaging 1 goal a game, very one dimensional player.

edit: I'm sure the introduction of these players has had an impact but HH is the main reason why the goals have been flying in IMO.

Buzz didn't get into the game today. I'm a massive fan of his, but he was virtually non-existent for the majority of the game.
