The way you go on, sounds to me you would have liked to give leon Clarke a bit more time.

Maybe he will come good, but what I have seen of him so far, no been impressed at all
You didn't go to Blackburn or Burnley then? Judge a player from 5 substitute appearences, says alot about you then. Why bring Leon Clarke into this?

Blackburn is not worth even talking about, as it was a kickabout in the park.

(apart from the dreadful Mackie incident)

Admittedly he may be better in a Faurlin or Derry role, but he ain't no winger.

Thats my problem with players being played out of position

cant believe people saying hes got a terrible shot. he came to us with the reputation as a dead ball specialist.
and he must do it in training cos warnock rushed him on last week when we had that free kick just outside the area, so he could take it. (and completley screw it up if im honest tho)

Yep, I saw that Free Kick and it was one of those moments when I didn't mean to laugh because it was OUR Free Kick. But at the same time... It was funny, so I did.

With Mackie, Smith and Hogan out, players will have to play out of position. He's played as a winger for his whole career(apart from last season), but as you rightly says he's brought here to play in the centre(Faurlin or Adel's positions). Just asking people to judge when he's been given a run in the team

PVM has had as much of a run out as we need to be able to judge him. Assessment= not very talented but lots of effort. Decent at set pieces but not very reliable at them. All sums to not good enough for a team that would be champions. I can't see there could be any [credible] argument about that.

If the argument is he needs more time to adjust to this League he shouldn't be in the team. This after all is the team running at promotion for first time in 15 years. We are not in the business of work experience. Loan him out if he can't cut it.

seems like the majority of fans on here just love to moan n make a scapegoat of a player who has come from a different league & is hardly ever played in his preferred position. as anyone who has played football will tell you its not very easy coming on as a sub n getting into the game especially out of position like pvm has too.

Your memory is pretty short, Jeffro. You were "attacked" when you wrote off Erik Huseklepp, who went to Serie A. PVM is just a fringe player in Norway's team, and no Norwegian QPR supporters have ever expected him to walk into the QPR team, or even dared to compare him with Riise, Hangeland, Carew & co. PVM was a free transfer after all. However, please do not judge him when played out of position on the left side.

I would say Miller would play right side of the forward line, like Agyemang used to do, he is strong, and has pace, and could trouble some left backs, but not necessarily an out and out winger, more edge of the box, IMO.

He's started 2 bloody matches(Best outfield player vs Blackburn and played a good game up at Burnley). But hey, he must be crap because he had a poor game coming on as sub against Preston. Some of you guys make me laugh

Give the poor lad a break, stop looking for more scapegoats(you already have Hulse and Orr)
Finally a sensible post on PVM. The 2 games he started he has been very good.

What you all seem to miss ( or have not watched him play ) is that he never gives the ball away or tries to just hoof it. Plays simple balls and actually passes 5 yards to a player on his same team. Always looks for feet. Surprisingly enough, Tarbs, Miller, Routledge, Faurlin etc are at their best when they have the ball to feet. Does anyone see a link?! I can explain it to you if you like?

Yeah i would much rather see Gorks/Hill Derry knock it 60 yards to Hulse who gets nowhere near it and leaves our best players out the game and not effective.

The fans need to stop bumbing Lee Cook and Martin Rowlands. Move on they have had their time at the club. If you cant see that then youre deluding yourselfs.
