All I can say is what I've been told.

And that's simply that Flavio is worried that all of the UK contenders are going to be too similar to Dowie (who he dint like obviously); that, and they really dont meet the expectations of "Global Brand QPR".

However, the plan with Dowie was to get us up and then he'd leave. I think that was common knowledge..it would restore his then tainted reputation, get us to the Prem and then we'd splash out on a top top manager to keep us there.

So, proven CCC managers are still an option but, I wouldnt be surprised to see a foreign coach who is employed on a longer contract and is a bit of a "sexier" name

I'd also add that FB is a very unpredictable man, very passionate and very "Italian". Not adverse to firing people (managers, players or staff) at the drop of a hat...so, you can see him chatting with friends - Capello, Lippi etc who mention a potential candidate and just going "yes, jobs theirs" in an instant (like he did with Sousa)
