I imagine this will **** up Forest getting into the X pretty badly as they will probably niaively arrive thinking they can get a tube.

I am more and more ****ed off with this. Adds about £20 onto the travel costs (cabbing across to a working line both ways) and about an hour each way.

A tip for any one coming in on the district line, get off at Ravenscourt Park, the ground is less than a 20 minute walk and there are lots of pubs along the way, or jump on the 262 bus alighting at the top of the Askew Rd.
I have supported Rangers for 55 seasons, since March 1969.

Or you could go to Willesden Jnc on the overground, and walk out the station and get the 220 bus. Takes you to White City stn.

Funny as, forest fans lost all over the London tube, arriving in dribs and drabs

I agree but I guess they have to do the maintenance sometime & unfortunately for us the game being on a Sunday means we bare the brunt of it. Expect plenty more of that next season if we go up Stan.

I have to go from St Albans to Fulham to drop my daughter a new phone then Fulham to the Bush then Bush back to St Albans all on different lines....Nightmare!

That sounds pretty grim. Been the same every Saturday I can remember as well, it just seems to shut down at weekends now. Had I known what the olympics would be used to excuse I would have campaigned for the French to have them. Then perhaps the Yeds would move to Paris n'all.

Trains are a complete **** up..

You can garentee everytime QPR are playing, (so pretty much every saturday).. the hammersmith city line will likely be closed...

Why dont they do there work on a sunday evening, or a week night evening instead of a blimmen busy Saturday afternoon...

Everytime time now i have to pay for a taxi from paddington, sod the buses, they are slow as ****. Ends up costing about £30 just getting to and from the game!!..
Cant believe it, ive been PWOPER MUGGED ORF...
