I think everybody can agree that GP should simply be negotiating the deals and definitely not selecting the players we buy. Problem is we never keep a manager long enough for him to choose what players he wants.

          Why?

You don't have to go into any detail that could be libellous to point out management incompetence on a scale that would have got a "normal" the sack from their employer.

If we managed a similar run in this season from that season (considering how many points we had after Blackpool) we would have been in the top 6.

If we had managed a run like that after the Blackpool game we would have played 47 games.....

It was a fantastic run and the football was great BUT note how many goals were scored in that run by Vine, Agyemang, Buzsaky and Rowlands.

                Answer me this question Pete:

How many times did Vine, Agyemang, Buzsaky and Rowlands play in the 9 games where Sousa failed to win a match?

                      2007-08 Before De Canio
                      Played: 12
                      Won: 2
                      Drew: 5
                      Lost: 5
                      Goals For: 10
                      Goals Against: 21
                      Points: 11
                      Points Per Match: 0.92
Percentage of Points Accumulated: 11 out of 36 = 30.55%

                      2007-08 De Canio 03/11/07 - 31/12/08
                      Played: 13
                      Won: 4
                      Drew: 4
                      Lost: 5
                      Goals For: 17
                      Goals Against: 16
                      Points: 16
                      Points Per Match: 1.23
Percentage of Points Accumulated: 16 out of 39 = 41%

2007-08 De Canio 01/01/08 - End of Season
                      Played: 21
                      Won: 8
                      Drew: 7
                      Lost: 6
                      Goals For: 33
                      Goals Against: 29
                      Points: 31
                      Points Per Match: 1.48
Percentage of Points Accumulated: 31 out of 63 = 49.2%

1.48 points per match is the equivalent to 68 points over a 46 match season. This year, 68 points wouldn't be enough, but this stat is based on last years results and last years players. Under De Canio we were conceding at 1.38 goals a game after January compared to the 0.95 goals a game for the whole of this season but since De Canio's last match our defence in terms of both personnel and performance has improved and overall the squad has a greater strength in depth.

Pete, if you'd been around during any of the glory years (67, 76, 92-5 etc) you'd realise LDCs place in QPR folklore is no higher than that of say, Tommy Docherty or Trevor Francis.

                        Time to move on?

Not really - He had Nigel Spackman play up and then came off worse with Daddy Thompson. Most of the others were as good as gold. Too many senior pro's in that side to let it slide to any great extent. Ray Wilkins and Peter Reid held the discipline side together

Capatin Clunge, you should learn how to argue your point like Sirpie.

Who the ****ing hell do you think you are and why do have to argue a case with trying to ridicule my support??

never missed a home game 92-95 FACTAMONDO and actually not one from 1988-1992 either.

Your comments have no relevance to this argument.

Reason, why De Canio is supposedly not liked ( I think he is liked) is ebcause of supposedly link to GP. Not because of the performances on the pitch.
